Committees And Councils Appointed By The Armenian Community Council

Since its establishment in 1977, the Armenian Community Council in Dubai and the Northern Emirates has formed various committees to serve the needs of the community. The main objective of these appointed committees is to help the Council in carrying out its activities to support the moral, educational and social development of the community and its members. Library

The library was established in 1999. Upon the request of philanthropist Kurken Kurdoghlian, the library’s official inauguration was held on 12 October, 2001 by Rev. Aram Deyirmendjian. On this occasion, the National Council and the library committee organized an event marking the Feast of Holy Translators (Tarkmantchats) for the first time in the community. A literary group was also established but was not productive.
